Privacy
Quali is a quiz game. We collect as little as we can to run it: your games, and — only if you sign in — who you are, so your results follow you and can appear in the standings.
Who is responsible: Giacomo Fava, Italy. Contact: email.
Playing without an account
- A random identifier stored on your device, so you can resume a game and keep your daily streak.
- Your games: questions, answers and scores. An optional nickname if you accept a challenge.
Signing in with Google or Apple
- From Google: your account identifier, name, email and profile picture.
- From Apple: your account identifier, your name if you choose to share it, and your email (or the private relay address Apple gives us). We also keep a token Apple provides, only to revoke access when you delete your account.
- If you sign in with both and the two providers confirm the same email address, they are linked to one profile.
- Public: in the standings and in challenges, other players see your first name, your profile picture and your scores. Never your email.
What we don't do
- No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking cookies, no sale or sharing of your data.
Where the data lives
- Game servers on Google Cloud (European Union), database on MongoDB Atlas, website on Cloudflare. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.
Deleting your data
In the app or on the web: Profile → Delete my account. It removes your account, your games and your entries in the standings straight away, and revokes Sign in with Apple. Games played without an account are not linked to you; to remove them, write to us.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to the contact above. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
